My recent online shopping experience was an absolute disaster, and I feel compelled to share it as a cautionary tale for others. We ordered a pair of glasses for our 12-year-old, but he had trouble seeing with them. It turned out the pupil distance (PD) was incorrect because the website never prompted us to provide it; they just assumed a value. My conclusion is this: Please know you will never be able to reach a human at glassesusa and have a real phone conversation if you call them, so plan on frustration if your glasses are not correct. Email interactions are too slow, causing the process to drag on. After days of slow email replies, I finally managed to get ahold of someone through their live chat to resolve this nightmare.
Customer: My son's new glasses are completely wrong. Our doctor confirmed you used a generic pupil distance without ever asking for the correct one. He can't see out of them.
