My recent online shopping experience with GlassesUSA has been absolutely terrible, and I feel compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale for anyone considering their services. I was completely ripped off for express shipping, paying $19.95 for what they claimed would be 'next day delivery,' only to receive an email hours later stating my order would take three business days to process. This company is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers; they are a fraud, plain and simple. I tried every avenue to get a refund for the service I paid for but didn't receive: their toll-free line, live chat, and emails all led to dead ends or automated bots. I finally managed to reach a human by pretending to place a new order, desperate to resolve this blatant misrepresentation and get my money back.
Customer: My order, [Order Number], was supposed to be delivered next day, and I paid extra for that. But now I've received an email saying it will take three business days to process. I want a refund for the $19.95 next day delivery fee. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delivery timeline, sir/ma'am. I see that your order has indeed been placed with the express shipping option. While the website indicates "eligible for next day delivery," this typically refers to the shipping time once the item is ready to leave our facility. Customer: But that's not what "next day delivery" implies when I'm paying for it on the order page! It's misleading, and I paid for a service I'm clearly not getting. I expect a full refund for that fee. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. I can definitely submit a request to our billing department right away to review and potentially process a refund for that express shipping charge. They are the ones who handle all billing adjustments. Customer: So, I still have to wait for another department to decide if I get my money back for a service you didn't provide? After all the trouble just to reach a human, this is incredibly frustrating.
