😡 GlassesUSA Nightmare: Broken Glasses, Store Credit Hell!
My online glasses order from GlassesUSA turned into a nightmare, a cautionary tale I feel compelled to share. I ordered glasses with added warranty, expecting a smooth process. Instead, I encountered repeated issues with lens replacements, being told my chosen frames were perpetually out of stock, resulting in store credit and a steadily decreasing order value. The original cost was $189; now, it's around $130. This whole experience felt like a joke, a robbery disguised as discounts and credits. "this place is the worst I've ordered glasses with added warranty and needed a replacement due to the frame breaking and each time I've needed a lens replacement they tell me my choice of frame is out of stock and will therefore he receiving a store credit plus a small % which doesn't make sense then how do I end up with a cheaper and lighter pair than the previous? I'm so tired of dealing with this crap from glassesusa plus a 30 deductible for the replacement. If you want quality eyeglasses for your child look elsewhere they seem like a good choice but are not . They haven't got 1 order right since purchasing with them but in order to not loose my money I have to choose until they get it right all while decreasing the value of my order I started at like 189 now it's somewhere around 130 a total joke and robbery you don't even realize due to the way they credit back and their fake discount codes." The constant hassle forced me to contact customer service, resulting in the following conversation:
Customer: I'm incredibly frustrated. My glasses are constantly breaking, and I keep getting store credit instead of proper replacements. This is unacceptable.

Customer: It's [Order Number]. I've spent over $180 and still don't have satisfactory glasses. This is ridiculous.

Customer: I want a proper replacement, not more store credit. Can you guarantee this time the frames won't be “out of stock”?
CS Rep: We will do our best to ensure the chosen frames are available. We'll expedite the process to ensure you receive your glasses promptly.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
